Hello to all,
What a busy week it has been! I have had a sick puking child, Evan, and the other three with runny noses. We are finally at the tail end of it so Grandma Rosemary and Granpa Mark should have a great time with the.
Mom got her pathology report back this week. Although it wasn't great news, it could have been a lot worse. Her margins were clear and it was NOT in her lymph nodes but they did find invasive cells. That means they can't say whether it got into her blood or not so she will need some chemo after all. She goes to see the Oncologist next week and then we will know when it will all start. Since she started her own blog she has had a great response and a lot of people shoeing their support for her and Dad. He hates being gone but has been able to get home and go to her appointments and be there when she needs him! He is doing a great job!! Love you Dad!
Ken and I are heading to the cabin for a couple days of R & R without the kids, hence the Grandma and Grandpa with the kids. They will stay here at our house and we will head out. It is suppose to be very nice weather and we will see if any fish are biting.
Have a great week-end. Check out Mom's blog it is: karen-journey.blogspot.com
Love,
Krista

It is so important for couple's to have some R&R without the children.

So many never take the time to let the stress factors of life and parenting be left behind even for a day or two. Just to be with each other and the beauty of the world around us.

It is so easy to get caught up in todays go, go , world and leave parts of our loving relationships with our spouse's set aside. That over time can lead to more and more stress between couple's.
R & R , what a great thing !!

What a great couple !

Love ,

Aunt Mattie
