My Little Gardeners
alt="" />
We had a very nice week-end at Mom and Dad's. We were able to get there about 12:30 so we made it for lunch. After lunch we went out planted in their flower beds. I hauled down dump trucks for the kids and they had a great time hauling dirt, and Owen taste testing it too. We got the flowers in and a lot of good pictures!
Then we had to get ready for a little party for Mom. It was called the "Rally Round Karen Party." (For those of you that haven't heard, she was diagnosed with breast cancer last week. We found out on Friday that if you have cancer that this is the kind to have, so that is good. Tomorrow Dad is going with her to a surgeon to see where we go from here.) the party was fun and it was great to see so many people there to support her and Stacy and I were so glad that we could go to. Stacy found the greatest gift for her, it is something that Grandma and Grandpa Krueger would send. It is a pot of flowers that plays music and the flowers twirl. It got many good laughs.
Sunday we went out for brunch, took the kids to feed the ducks and let them play at the park before the 6 hour trip back. Needless to say after the long week-end the first two hours of the trip was very quiet! That last two were not but we had such a great time and it was good for all of us to be together!
Hope everybody has a great week!
Love,
Krista

I was so glad to hear you girls were going to be at your Mom's Rally.
Stacy , it sounds like you did good with the gift, and it does sound like one your grandparents would have choosen.
It was nice your families could all be together.
I wish my daughter was closer.
Just like I'm sure you all wish Kelly lived closer too.
Great Picture !
The flowers were a great thing for you all to do together. Happy Moments !
Better go , I have finals tomorrow.

Aunt Mattie
Krista, we are so sorry to hear about Karen. I know she is very strong and has you guys and all of us to pray and help keep her as strong as she is. We will be here every step of the way and I know she can win this battle. Love to you all.. The Gonzalez family of 5
What a neat time you guys had together! I'm sure Karen really appreciates your thoughtfulness...she is very lucky to have you all around her!
The kids looked like they were having a ball playing in the dirt! What fun!

My finals went ok, I won't know my grade till next week at the earliest.
I know I passed, my instructor gave me a big hug ; She hopes I will return for another class in the winter.
You are having a picnic ? What fun!
I can't wait to hear all about it.
Take care,
Love,
Aunt Mattie
