Vacation 2006

Here we are at the Grand Harbor Hotel and Waterpark in Dubuque, IA. This was about the middle of the trip. First, we went to Davenprt to see Mom & Dad. We all had a great time! The kids love having the school right accross the street from their house, they want to go over and play all the time. We went to a Graduation party Saturday afternoon, while Mom and Dad napped and then we went back to their place and had pizza.

Sunday we went to our old Church and saw a lot of friends. It was nice to see them again and how much the kids have grwon since we have moved. Then we went to the Waterpark. All of the kids loved the slides! They couldn't get enough of them. It was Mom who called it quits for all of us. Aunt Stacy had a great time too.

We stopped and saw Grandma on Monday. We took her outside and she got to watch the kids play and blow bubbles. then on to Rochester. This hotel had a waterslide and a kiddie pool. The kids were turning into fish by now!!

During the trip we contiued with the potty training and they did great! We are still working and they are almost there. Owen is walking all over the place.

We got home yesterday about 3 and were so glad to ne home! the cats were glad we were back too.

Have a great week-end!

Hey Ken,

It was great to see you on our blog. It means a lot to us to know we our in your devotions. Thank you very much. Krista, where did you get that cool looking floaty pool thing? I have been trying to think of ways to bring Jaden in the water and most things don't look like it will work to well.. I know this might be a little on the older side for him but it may work by the end of the summer or next.
